The Ideal Situation

If there's one thing I know, every girl dreams of her wedding... at least once in her life. Before she even has a man sometimes. I've had this one planned in my head for ages and just felt I needed to have it written down somewhere instead of built up in my head.

The Ideal Situation follows my FAVORITE colors (clearly the man just needs to show up...), which are mint and coral. I found this absolutely amazing concept from Pinterest that basically showcased the full potential of the colors to my theme.

Not to mention I'm big on traveling. This picture basically describes the essence of me. With my love for travel comes the dream of a destination wedding as well. (How will I ever afford this dream?!) It's driven to the point where I even know where I want this wedding... Sinatra, Portugal! The architecture there is amazing! And as a student studying architectural engineering, you can see why I would be brought in. I came across this wedding down by Karson Butler Events showcasing some of the places in Sintra I have envisioned my dream wedding at.

Now, if I plan on doing a destination wedding, there's no real point in having a travel "themed" wedding is there? Seems kind of redundant since we'd be traveling! But I have backup theme, it's really the actual theme that can never be trumped by any other theme. I don't care what my future husband thinks. I'm basically running this ship (bridezilla? I hope not...) Anyway, it's DISNEY. Cheesy right? Well, I'm crazy about Disney. Nuts. To the point where people think I'm going to actually have my wedding in Disney. But, no. That's too obvious and predictable and I don't want to be predictable. Though I'm posting all over Pinterest what my future wedding might be... I'm not going to lie though, a Disney wedding does seem cheesy. If I do plan on doing that, I'm going to make sure at least my color theme overshadows the theme of Disney. To the point where where it's just hints of Disney and nothing more. The idea of subtly just puts more class on my obsession of Disney, rather than the craze it usually is.

For now that is what I have got. I know I am going to be all over the place. Like the reality of a destination wedding? Ok... But know at least the hints of Disney is not going away. It's the one part of me I'm not going to lose.

P.S. I'm not crazy. I just happen to have come across these things on Pinterest! Pinterest does this to you really. I probably have 5 boards dedicated to various dream weddings.
